Some of us might be a bit reluctant to admit we believe in miracles. But haven’t we all been witness to something we thought was impossible becoming possible? Wasn’t that something of a miracle when it happened?
A "fearless moral inventory" is helpful during Lent. Until we come to terms with who we are and how what we think and do may separate us from God and each other, we can't fully live the lives God intends for us.
It's Lent. This is a season dedicated to removing those obstacles that keep us from being the people God intends us to be. It can be great time to assess where you are based on A.A.'s fearless moral inventory.
One of the traditions of the Twelve-Step Program in Alcoholics Anonymous is to take a “fearless moral inventory” of your life. I think this is something everyone should do on a regular basis, and Lent is the perfect time to do so.
