A miracle is simply by definition a surprising and welcome event  that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of God. Rev. Jacob Armstrong of Providence United Methodist Church in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, provides some glimpses into miracles and their meaning past and present.
